Alright guys and gals... i am pulling my hair out....

It should not be this damn hard to literally run a little batch file on startup.... how in the world do i do this.

Ideally the batch file would run after the network has been setup. I have read the PENetwork has this ability but i cant find it anywhere in the win7pe SE winbuilder setup.

At the very least simply run a .bat file on startup thats ALL i need to do.

Thanks

Its not. A simple search of the forums answers this question many times over.

In any case the answer is:

http://code.google.c...ki/add_shortcut

http://code.google.c...wiki/addautorun

for running after network you can indeed use PENetwork. simply configure the program.

  1. under components choose the PENetwork script.
  2. about 3/4 of the way down check the box to use profiles on network startup and press the Start Editor Button.
  3. under the Network Profile heading create a profile or select an existing profile to edit.
  4. click on CMS's after startup tab on left
  5. add your commands on the right.
  6. profit!!!!
