Our friend Wonko (aka Jaclaz) has been recently been featured on a special interview at the Forensic Focus forum.

The article is an enjoyable read, brings to surface a lot on interesting details about Jaclaz.

Even better, it includes a photo of him. :clapping: Took some years but we can finally see that The Finder is a real person, not some google finder bot sent from the future. So, this event was literally a "wonkoview".

Are you really sure the photo is actually representing Wonko (the Sane)? :dubbio:

As a matter of fact the other "stock" image I posted here:

has more resemblance to my real looks :whistling: (though I am a bit taller and slimmer than Mr. Starkwell ;))

pretty sure wonko would kick the google bot's shinny metal butt in a straight up competition, if not solely because of the relevance of the results and the odd bit of humor thrown in.

Agree, even if , and as a matter of fact, Wonko's picture can easily be found through Linkedin.....

Anyhow, congratulations Wonko for all the idea/viewpoints you described and highlighted in the interview.

Above all, for transmitting to all the gents, here and there, the real view/image about what these poor Italians are capable of....specially these times !!!!!

Hit it, Wonko !

Interesting reading, specially around youngsters and IT.

Being an "oldish" and autodidact I definitely share lots of the views written in that article :)

2 words I wrote down from Wonko's article: "passion" and "involvement". This is what should be driving IT these days...

Forza Wonko !!!

Or - very possibly - a picture of someone else who happens to be a namesake of mine. :whistling:

Rest assured that you won't find so easily (or much more likely "at all") a picture representing me online.

I am rather thorough about it. :smiling9:

About the "poor italians", they are IMHO not particularly "poor", and possibly not even "italian", what Metternich DID NOT say:

http://archiviostori...906012552.shtml

is now most probably a good representation of the present.

@Mikorist

That's exactly the idea behind a "stock photo", it is one of the generic images that are usually senseless added to websites and press articles.

Ambralivio was referring instead to a picture associated to a profile on LinkedIn, only that he got the "wrong" person. :whistling:

There are currently 4 (four) people listed on it:

http://www.linkedin..../Jacopo/Lazzari

3 (three) have a picture attached to their profiles and 1 (one) has it not.

Guess to whom does the pictureless profile belong to? ;)

Wonko

Sure :smiling9:, at the time of that Jacopo Lazzari joining it, the service was called "SculptedIn"  :w00t: and involved the transportation of largish slabs of marble from Carrara to Naples and back (on carriages or on horse back) though ;).
