Hello to everyone,
i´m new here and i think my problem will be a small one, for you guys:

since my CD-Rom and/or BIOS on my old PC can not boot from CDROM,
i would like to boot from boot.ini
I´ve seen a way to boot from Floppy with Bootpart, but i want to boot from CD out of boot.ini

is this possible ???

Not sure if it can help but you can try to place the attached file into the root and add a line into BOOT.INI:

C:\bootsect.cdr="Boot from CD"

It is possible to add to boot.ini an entry for grldr (part of the grub4dos package) that can boot directly from CDrom or through a floppy image using BCDW or SBM.

If you need help for the above, just post so.

Ok, you'll need to read these:
http://www.boot-land...ub4Dos-t14.html
http://www.911cd.net...showtopic=18231
http://www.911cd.net...showtopic=18846

to get the hang of it.

Get grub4dos and read the readme.txt, then if you have question, feel free to ask them here.
