Hi,

Recently been wondering how to add the Qemu Emulator to xpcli.

To be fair, I think Qemu would be a nice (useful) tool on Xpcli.

Also an hexeditor with disk access, but it is not the topic here.

I am trying with Qemu 0.9.1 Windows (for now), there are less dependencies.

I walked the deps; I am working with the Xpcli of Minixp, with all options (except bblean).

The size would be around 60mb.

Getting rid of "unneeded" dlls, ieframe for eg (10mb?).

Some dlls are from sp3.

I have seen the spreadsheet (Wonko), I don't know which services should be started.

Anyone want to help?

:)

I see. :)

But that is just a tool.

If I were you I would check the Qemu Standalone .script:

http://reboot.pro/to...emu-standalone/

Now, finding it is another thing :( (remember to thank Nuno for the several changes he made to the board to the effect of making large parts of its contents UNfindable anymore and the good IP board guys for their help in this).

Another number of XP based projects do have Qemu "integrated", but the relatered files are scattered *everywhere* :(.

Thanks, thanks for the link.

I looked for the script, only found two files on Thuun's site, relating to Qemu.

These are the Qemu binaries.

No script!

I'll look around other PE builds..

Really it's straightforward (guys, readers, newbies:p),

No need for additional reg entries, cool.

I tested the exe in Qemu, works good. I'll try then with images, etc..

Will post some report /lists.
