I provide this tool here for all computer fans.
This tool has been developed for more than 4 years, during which many kind users gave a lot of feedbacks and advices.
Thanks to all users & testers most of whom are from http://bbs.wuyou.com/ and special thanks to CLONECD who made DRVTYPE for me.

Ordering and showing drive letters tool

Usage: ordering messed drive letters and showing all drive letters according to their type
System: winxp and above (win2k and lower not tested), including WIN PE

Using method and notification:
Unpack the attachment, run ORDERDRV.CMD file, by default you will find the drive letter identifying result. Do gurantee the downloaded orderdrv.cmd, mountvol.exe, fsutil.ese, more.com and drvtype.exe in same folder. If this tool was

runned in NATIVE win PE, find.exe must exist.

For the batch file running fully automatic, edit the batch file as follows:

set AUTO=y (y represents fully automatic, default n represents inter action mode)

1. Fix removabe USB disk (flash drive) drive letter
set USBDRV=U

U is the first USB disk drive letter found by the system.
This drive letter must not be conflict with any other drive letters, that is it must be unique, otherwise error will happen.
Simply delete U if you don't want to fix it.

2. Fix USB CDROM drive letter
set USBCDROM=T
T is the first USB CDROM drive letter found by the system.
This drive letter must not be conflict with any other drive letters, that is it must be unique, otherwise error will happen.
Simply delete T if you don't want to fix it.

3. Drive letters to be identified:
Phisical hard disk, optical disk, USB disk, floppy disk.
Virtual hard disk, virtual optical disk, virtual floppy disk.

Note: Virtual disk software includes ULTRAISO, WIN8 virtual optical drive, DAEMON TOOLS、WINVBLOCK、FIRADISK and various RAMDISK.

4. Drive order to be ordered
Fixed USB disk which contains system driver letter -> Hard disk -> Non-WINVBLOCK and non-FIRADISK optical disk -> Fixed USB disk which doesn't contain system drive letter -> Removable USB disk -> WINVBLOCK optical disk -> FIRADISK optical disk

Note:
Hard disk order: Solid State Disk (DISKID in DRVTYPE contains SSD string) -> other hard disk -> FIRADISK hard disk. The active partition drive letter of the first hard disk was arranged to the first position of all hard drive letters.
Non-WINVBLOCK and non-FIRADISK optical disk order: SCSI CD/DVD -> IDE CD/DVD -> WIN8 virtual CD/DVD -> DAEMON TOOLS virtual CD/DVD -> USB CD/DVD.
Floppy disk order: physical floppy disk -> FIRADISK floppy disk -> WINVBLOCK floppy disk.
System drive letter, floppy drive letters and virtual drive letters (excludes hide partition drive letters) which have no mount point or those virtualized by RAMDISK soft (ie DATARAM) are not to be ordered.
