Just came across this website gegeek.com

The web site's main page at www.gegeek.com is packed with quick reference links and on the left bar, links to useful (geeky) sites and sometimes just useful info. The index bar on the left hand side can be used to choose a category.

However, there is also a link to GEGeek Tech Toolkit 1.4

The download is a 1.4GB ZIP file which extracts to almost 2GB of portable apps. It works like this:

1. Extract the files to the root of a drive volume - usually a USB drive and makes a \GeGeek Toolkit folder on the drive.

2. Run GeGeek_Toolkit.exe from the \GeGeek Toolkit folder - this puts an icon in your Windows Desktop TaskBar (a small arrow in a circle)

3. Now right-click on the taskbar icon and run 'Run Ketarin Update' - this will update all the apps to their latest version (if you have an internet connection)

4. Quit GeGeek_Toolkit (right-click on the icon and Exit) and then run it again.

You now can run hundreds of portable apps from the GeGeek Tech_Toolkit panel!

As well as the apps listed in the pop-up panel, WSCC Portable contains the Microsoft and NirSoft apps. This also has an auto-update feature.

The toolkit was last updated by the author on 10 Jan 2013 and so looks to be well maintained at the moment.

Put this on your USB toolkit drive and you have a load of useful apps all in one place and all easily updateable!
