Somone said in a DOSBox forum that it was impossible to emulate Windows Me, well that's false and here it is the proof. You can install it if you use Lite98 Professional 4.7 and you choose a compact setup. I was even able to make a Windows 95 LiveCD by copying to the RAM the VHD created with the bximage program that I've used to install Win95 on DOSBox. You don't need to use WinBuilder to do such a LiveCD you only will need a copy of Grub4Dos and at least 1GB of RAM

title Windows 95 (RAM)

map --mem /w95.img (hd0)

map --hook

root (hd0,0)

chainloader +1

you can even make a LiveUSB of Win95 and run it in persistent mode

title Windows 95

map /w95.img (hd0)

map --hook

root (hd0,0)

chainloader +1

but you need to patch the C:WINDOWSsystem.ini file by adding this under the [386Enh] section of the file

MaxPhysPage=30000

now I'll try to do the same thing with Windows ME.

P.S

Size of Windows Installation 108MB + 154MB for WINME setup folder

It Works!!!! Yeah!!! However I suggest you to patch it in order to make it usable from PC with more than 700 MB of RAM before making a Live CD
Here's a screenshot! :)
