Hello.
I've setting up my PC and I would like to have a multiboot configuration with Windows 7, Windows XP, Ubuntu and Hiren's.
I used the Windows 7 boot loader to make the trick, and used the EasyBCD software to manage it all.
It works well, but I cannot make the Hiren's iso run directly from HDD, although I followed all the tutorials about it I found.
My current partition table is rather complex:

/dev/sda1 hidden fat32 (recovery partition from the manifacturer)
/dev/sda2 ntfs with XP
/dev/sda3 ext4 with ubuntu
/dev/sda4 extended with:
/dev/sda5 ntfs with Win7
/dev/sda6 ntfs data partition
/dev/sda7 linux swap for ubuntu
/dev/sda8 fat16 with the copy of HBCD data, grub.exe, gldr and menu.lst as stated by tutorials

My boot partition is /dev/sda2, with the Win7 MBR installed.
I tried multiple ways to add the /dev/sda8 partition to boot (mainly using EasyBCD), but everytime I get an error about sda8 being not bootable.

Can someone help me?
Thank you very much.

Beppi.

Does section 3.3 of http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/wee help?
You need to add the HBCD grub4dos menu.lst to the root of one of the partitions so grdlr will find it.

Thank you, I'll try this new solution.
Currently I have a multiboot based on Windows 7, configured with EasyBCD. I can choose WIndows environments and a Ubuntu.
Selecting Ubuntu I can choose among the os and booting from some ISOs. I was able to configure GRUB to run clonezilla and system-rescue, but still HBCD is not working.
