Hello everyone ;)

It is very small tool only. So maybe this is not necessary to some persons, but I wanted to share anyway. Kind regards :hi:

CmdLine : /About /Silent
Comment : If you've found yourself hitting DNS errors or 404 pages in your browser but you know your net connection is working fine, it might fix problem to flush and restart Windows' DNS cache.

Does this utility accomplish anything beyond what ipconfig /flushdns does, or do they have the same behaviour? As I was downloading this tool, when my browser told me that the compressed archive for this tool was over 2 MB, I decided to cancel it, since my XP ipconfig.exe is about 55 kB. I have downloaded too much, this month. :loleverybody:

Hey, are you telling me that you use command line? :w00t:
;)

In case one needs a GUI, there is this one:
http://www.nirsoft.n...rds_viewer.html
41 Kb download (completely portable .exe, 36 Kb is the actual .exe once expanded) that besides clearing the DNS list can also show it's contents, export them, etc.....

This doesn't seem good. Does the tool do something beyond ipconfig /flushdns ? I read your note about having better support for a particular web browser, for example. It's kind of you to develop and share a project in the reboot.pro forums. I'm just curious about more detail before I download, since I've downloaded too much, this month, and do not wish to go beyond my Internet service provider's limit. :loleverybody:
