Hi All,

I downloaded Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (Date=01-04-12) script from:-
http://homes32.winbuilder.net/31-2/

As far as I have been able to find it is the most recent Malwarebytes script at this time.
I suspect it likely worked at the time of it's creation and uploading, but I cannot get it to work with the Mbam downloads of today in Win7PE_SE.

Can anyone suggest a modification to the script so I could point it at a local copy rather than have the script automatically download the latest Mbam exe file and definitions..?

When run, it displays error messages to the effect that the definitions are corrupt and many others.

I have quite a number of saved prior versions of Mbam.

TIA,
Regards,
BobxT

This is a known issue which cannot be solved (easily).

Many greetings to Down Under,

Thanks Mikka,
I will give up for the moment and hope something comes of the future development.

Just a note: When I created the Win7PE_SE x86 and tried Malwarebytes, I noticed the rules.ref file was not included in the build. Updating within Win7PE_SE also did not create the rules.ref fie. However, when I manually added rules.def and it's matching database.conf file Malwarebytes still claimed it was corrupt and when it did yet another online update, it deleted the rules.ref file.

Weird. I hope Holmes32 or someone eventually sorts it out as I really like Malwarebytes.

Regards,
BobxT

Hi bobxt. Sorry for the late reply. I've been on vacation for a week.
As was posted the current issues are not easily fixed but I'm working on script improvements that can build from a locally installed copy. Its a bit more cumbersome though as updating requires manual intervention.
