First thank you all very much for your work and contribution - these forums are an amazing source of information.
I am trying to build a Win7PE boot CD for my new Slate PC (HP) - and am having some issues with the drivers - I can't seem to get the "N-Trig" touchscreen to work.
I tried including N-Trig's drivers using Driver Integration - partially works - I can see the N-Trig devices in the device manager screen, however, it says "a service installation section in this INF is invalid" on the main N-Trig device - it seems as though in the original N-Trig device setup, it installs not only a driver but also a Windows service.
Aside this N-Trig touchscreen, i've seen other drivers not working (didn't get to them yet) - and i'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact sometimes drivers are accompanied with applications/services that need to start on boot in order for the device to function properly.
- Perhaps this is just a bug, and the Driver Integration script is supposed to install the service as well, and for some reason it doesn't?
- Is there a way to integrate such drivers - meaning, a way to "autoinstall" driver sets (that come with services/applications), rather than just the driver itself?
- Anyone ever installed touchscreen drivers? any tips?
