I have 2 gb in a pc XP Sp2.
If i create a 383MB image file and "copy image file in memory" work fine.
If i create a 400MB or when remount volume it is not formatted.
Also 350MB not work.
Why?

Hard to say. Can you post your exact commands for creating/saving/remounting (if you use command line control tool) or post exactly which steps you take in GUI if you use Control Panel applet. Also, please specify which Windows version, 32/64 bit etc you are using.

Okay. This creates an image file backed virtual disk drive. I assume that you after this command dismount and remount it as a ram disk instead?

imdisk -d -m K:
imdisk -a -t vm -f "c:ramdisk.img" -m K:

...or something else? Please specify!
