More critical: I edited a typo. When trying to save, I got the message:
TypeError: ipb.textEditor.getEditor("edit-" + postid) is undefined.
Seems something is corrected in the mean time.
I have the full editor now, and save edited post is working

This used to work fine thou once upon a time.
I really wished, people would stop improving things, by making them less usable.

Please clean up the browser cache as mentioned here: http://reboot.pro/16704/But I am still not getting the Full editor!!
If something continues broken, use a browser without any addons and a fresh cache. The editor works fine on my side, do some clean up and tests before posting back your experience.
I know what you mean. From a safety perspective, we have little solution other than upgrading the software every now and then.I really wished, people would stop improving things, by making them less usable.

But, are you people seeing the fonts in posts in BOLD format?

But I'm using Chrome. Before clearing the cache, I had the same problem as you stated. After clearing cache, the problem was resolved.Having come to expect so little from the forum, I'm surprised to find myself disappointed still. Most browsers I only get raw html code and no full editor options; even in Chrome which used to work until latest improvements. Yes I've cleared my cache and installed Java to no avail, what's next; the forum only works if running Linux?

With javascript globally allowed, FireFox, IE and Opera show the full editor.

Try cleaning up the cache of your browser and then it should work as intended. On my machine I am writing posts as usual.

Hi,
Try cleaning up the cache of your browser and then it should work as intended. On my machine I am writing posts as usual.
I forgot to mention one point. When I reported, I was on an Ubuntu 11.x machine, using Firefox 6.0.2 as browser. And I tried cleaning up the cache before posting.
Now, I'm using an Win 7 PC & Firefox 12.0 as browser. Everything is working fine here.
