Hi everybody ;)

The Windows 8 Consumer Preview does not have start button. But we can solve this problem with third-party software until you find a better solution. Best regards :hi:

Just to help anyone else - if you are looking for the OLD start menu to be associated with the button - STOP NOW :exclamation: While there are some other tools/hacks (just search a bit) that can do this, this is NOT it.

On the other hand, I don't want anyone to think I don't like start8. I acutally like what it does! :punk: It is a way to more quickly access the Start Screen in a smaller form, or to go directly to the "Apps" metro screen (use the left mouse button on the start screen), which is a metro view of the start folder structure, allowing you to get to all the things applications put in the menu folders.

Caution - it is beta :beta: (as is the Win8 CP), and I find it a bit difficult to go to the actual "start screen", but the more I use Win8, the more I am getting used to it, and it isn't nearly as bad as many folk make it out to be...

Like many of the other StarDock tools, this one has a lot of potential!

Thanks Max for starting this thread!
