The graphs displayed are of the brightness of distant stars plotted against time.
You need to look for a (regular) dip in brightness as a planet crosses the surface of the star.
create a user account at http://www.planethunters.org/ and start hunting - training is given to show you what to look for when you start. You don't need to login to begin.
Already one exoplanet has been discovered by amateurs using this site and had a planet named after them.
