I want to reinstall my machine during the Christmas holiday on an SSD.
I have the Win 7 Home Premium UK retail DVD, but I really don't want to download and install all those patches (including umpteen restarts).

Does anyone know where I can download an install DVD with all the latest patches?
I saw some of those 'illegal' DVDs which have all the patches integrated, but I'm not sure whether I can use my own Windows key for that. Anyone know this?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want us to provide you a link to an illegal download, or do you want from us an assurance that a given illegal download will work with your key?

You may want to post your key, so someone could download one of those illegal DVD images, test it with your key and report.... :whistling:

BTW, the answer to this one:

Does anyone know where I can download an install DVD with all the latest patches?

is obviously:
Yes. :smiling9:

You can follow my tutorial here, though related to older XP releases, it may be adapted for newer 7 ones:

Hmmm... not quite the answer I was expecting.

Anyone have some more constructive advise?
E.g, does Microsoft have a download available for Win 7 including SP1?

Thanks in advance.

I know.

Yes.

This is another question, and obviously it is NOT connected with 'illegal' downloads (I would hope that MS has the redistribution right for it's own software ;)).
And the answer is again, yes.

Since I am after all a nice guy :dubbio:, here, kid, take my hand and let me help you cross the road :):
