Hi,
Thanks for all your efforts with Sardu, and thanks for the final version.

I've been using LiLi, developed by Thibeau.
How does Sardu compare with LiLi Linux Live?
Is there any advantage to Sardu, or are they both equally good?

Eric

Why dirty the official release thread to talk about other software?
This is correct? Logically this thread go OT.

Sorry,
Didn't mean to talk about other software...Sardu is multi-boot, LiLi is only for single-boot.

You may want to clean the title of official release thread, just saying.

Keep up the good work, coming from a former xboot user. :good:

Hi Davide,

Thank you very much for all your efforts and wonderfull job! :-)
Thank you for sharing generously with people your knowledge and the results of your hard work ,,,
I used last year your SARDU to help a lot of friends ,,, and now, am member in your forum too :-)

I thought, I simply can thank you everywhere, so you know that there are a lot of people in this
f,,, dirty world who appreciate very much what you do!

I am really poor for the moment (in $ only, not in mind!), but if I will be better financially, I will support you
to make a professional version of Sardu!

Take care ,,, and keep helping people from your beautiful Sardegna :-)

Kaspi

Off-topic, I'm interested in what language and libraries you use to write for all 3 platforms?

I have tried more versions of the Sardu to create a multiboot usb, but I have the same problem: when I use a Windows 7 installer, Hiren's starts having the "HBCD folder not found" issue, when I try to load a program under Dos Programs.

I have tried on different usb flash drives and with different sizes, with the same result.

What can cause this problem? Thanks.

p.s. I'm using an Windows 7 AIO installer (it includes both x86 and x64 editions)

You use ISO or USB?

I'm not sure what do you mean... I'm using ISO files (inside of the ISO folder from SARDU), to create a bootable USB.

Thanks for your help.

@davidecosta: Can you please tell me how to change the utility.cfg, so the Hiren's Boot CD 15.1 to be loaded using menu.lst instead of isolinux.cfg? Thanks.

This don't works fine?

#boot di Hiren's

label Boot from Hiren's Boot CD

menu label Boot from ^Hiren's Boot CD

MENU INDENT 1

	  kernel /menu.c32

	append /HBCD/isolinux.cfg

try with

#boot di Hiren's

label Boot from Hiren's Boot CD

menu label Boot from ^Hiren's Boot CD

MENU INDENT 1

	  kernel /boot/grub.exe

	 APPEND --config-file="/HBCD/menu.lst
