File Name: Icon Positions
File Submitter: 2aCD
File Submitted: 05 Dec 2011
File Updated: 07 Apr 2012
File Category: System scripts

Arrange icons on PE desktop and import it to this script. So they get defined positions at start time

Requirements:

- only for explorer-shell

- for use with LiveXP latest version 153 with the UpdatePackage is necessary

download: http://reboot.pro/15257/

- for LiveXP switch Script-Level to 1 and select a different IconPosition.reg to Win7PE

Confirmed working with:

- Win7PE_SE (x64/x86)

- LiveXP

How it works:

Step 1: Build your PE. At runtime arrange your icons for all display resolutions that you need and create an exportfile with 'Export Icon Positions'. Save this file on your Host-PC or network.

Step2: Copy this exportfile to %GlobalTemplates%\IconPos and select it.

Step3: Build new PE with selected positionfile

You can save positions for different resolutions in one position file.
Place this script please into tweaks from your project

Best Regards

I am glad that you like it. :good:
"Custom (in source)" is no longer needed. It was also too cumbersome.

have a nice day
