Has anyone been able to get a SOL driver installed in Live XP? I've tried a few different approaches and can't seem to get the image to recognize the SOL driver and create a serial port.
DrvImp seems to load the files, but doesn't create the serial port itself and assign a COM port.
Drvloader.exe doesn't seem to be supported in Winbuilder, because it really doesn't do anything unless I loaded it wrong. Just opened a winpe wim from the WAIK and extracted the drvloader file then put it in the custom folder for WinBuilder. Navigate to that folder in a command prompt and tried to run the drvloader commands like in a standard WinPE image.
I'm trying to create a standalone image that can be booted with IDER redirection with Intel vPro technology, then return a command back to the SOL console with the IP address once the image has successfully booted, to automatically bring up a VNC viewer to see the users desktop. This is more of a recovery desktop for a user then a diagnostic tool for techs.

Often when a driver is installed is as important as how; I don't have the hardware to test but try setting up pre-shell install with this script for LiveXP:

or this one for Win7PE:
