I'm currently trying to install yaVDR without USB and cdrom using PXE and found the possibility to use grub4dos.
So far i've made an dhcp and tftp server which successfully sends grub4dos to the client. Using
title yaVDR 0.4pre2 InstallISO pxe keep map --mem /yavdr4p2.iso (0xff) map --hook #root (0xff) chainloader (0xff)
the client loads the .iso and boots from it, too.
BUT: the installation process tries to access the cdrom (.iso) content and fails to do so.
After reading and searching this forum and other sites my belief was that "pxe keep" would help it which it doesnt.
Also I saw code pieces like "map /yavdr.iso (0xff) || map --mem /yavdr.iso (0xff)" or direct loads of the kernel and initrd (both are available ON the yavdr.iso, as is a isolinux and a "pxelinux.0" but without a .cfg). Can anyone of those be a significant hint?
Maybe it's so simple that I missed it somehow.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
