New to this forum and the world of livecd

I would ask if you can advise me the correct version and get this program:

os xp
Remote Desktop 6 or higher
support for USB devices (flash-drive and smart cartd "Gemalto")

I would like to create a diskless PC> boot from cd or pendrive> Automatic connection rdp> client and bring to ts USB devices mounted on thinclient.

I hope not too much to ask:-D

I saw that you have many solutions available, before all the evidence and find the verion suits my tests would pass the fashion thinclient.

I hope you can help me and tell me at least where to start and how to program version and the various tests

If I get it right you want to run a "full" XP booting it from either CD or Pendrive.

Unfortunately LiveXP is a deceiving name, as it is the name of a project that is a PE 1.0, vey like what you can create with Bart's PEbuilder.

You will need anyway to make up your mind it is pretty much "mutually exclusive" CD or Pendrive..
Suggested for "pendrive":

http://reboot.pro/13731/

Suggested for CD/DVD:

Thanks for the quick response, I will watch the links suggested.

To be more precise, I do not need a full XP but only an OS (also different from XP) that makes boot from cd or pendrive.

I'll have what they need after the boot is just a program "remote desktop for Microsfot" and support for USB devices such as smartcards.

There is/was support for the Remote Desktop client in a PE also:
http://reboot.pro/5051/
but don't think there is for the Server:
http://reboot.pro/5984/

Same goes for Smartcards (USB or otherwise connected) I think that you need a logged in user in order to use them. (please read as "real" XP and NOT PE, where the user is directly "System" with no password)
