How do I build a LiveXP ( or multiPE ) that cannot access hard disks ? Something like http://www.spi.dod.mil/lipose.htm .

Needs access to USB/PS2 KBs, mice, UFDs, or course.

Do you mean something like a forensic sound PE?

I want a LiveXP from which I can only access the internet. It should not allow the user to read/write ( or even see ) any hard disk ( or drive ).

Then the given solution should be OK.
Mind you that it will only avoid the AUTOMATIC MOUNTING of the filesystems (drives or partitions) and the assignement of drive letters, access to .Physicaldrive (the actual physical disk) will not be affected, tools like dsfo/dsfi, any dd-like tool. disk editors and the like will work allright AND the user will be able to mount manualy the volumes.
The thread mentioned in the link:
http://www.911cd.net...showtopic=18157
gives some "additional" hints, but if the idea is to make a completely "tamper proof system", it won't be effective (if not to n00bs), with Internet Access available it would take 5 minutes to download tools/programs to revert this kind of "preventions", even if you remove them form the build.
