Good morning everybody,

does anybody have an idea how to add a work directory to an Add_Shortcut,Autorun command?
This is what I want to do:
Add_Shortcut,AutoStart,,client.exe,,"%PE_Programs%\%ProgramFolder%",i=Default

Log:
file:///D:/Toolbox/4/BaseDir/Pictures/accept.gif SetVar - Sucessfuly changed the value of [#4] to: [Samurize Monitoring]
file:///H:/Toolbox/4/Logs/%27 [//If,#5,Equal,,StrFormat,path,#3,#5]
file:///H:/Toolbox/4/Logs/%27 [If,Not,#6,Equal,,StrFormat,REPLACE,#6,###$q,##$q,#6]
file:///D:/Toolbox/4/BaseDir/Pictures/accept.gif IF - [i=default] is not equal to: [] evaluated string: [If,Not,#6,Equal,,StrFormat,REPLACE,#6,#",#$q,#6]

As you see, #5 (the working directory) is a comment and not handed over:
file:///D:/Toolbox/4/BaseDir/Pictures/accept.gif IF - [autorun] is equal to: [autorun] evaluated string: [If,#1,Equal,Autorun,Run,%API%,Add_Auto_Run%API_TYPE%,#4,#3,#6,2]
file:///H:/Toolbox/4/Logs/%27 [Run,%API%,Add_Auto_Run%API_TYPE%,#4,#3,#6,2]

Many thanks,
Rolf

Add_Shortcut,AutoStart,,client.exe,,"%PE_Programs%\%ProgramFolder%",i=Default

Add_Shortcut,AutoStart,,"%PE_Programs%\%ProgramFolder%\client.exe","Shortcut Name",,,"[path]icon.ico"

And not to take away from the wonderful work paraglider did originally on all the API docs, see also http://code.google.c...ki/add_shortcut

But even if it was supported on vista/win7, how would the syntax of "i=Default" work????

Without going into a debate about the docs and chm ;)

@Paraglider
your winbuilder.chm is still used and it is a big and nice work

So, I forward you a message of JonF on a small error in winbuilder.chm

In the latest version, the link for Script Command Categories\Text Files is broken.

Under System,SPLITPARAMETERS, "Log Result" should be on a new line preceded by a blank line, and the log result itself has a bunch of broken image links.

I also saw that winbuider.chm has not been updated Following the new ScriptInterface API.

History25rev79=Homes32 added new api command ScriptInterface{Read|Write|State} - Removed Getinterface, ShowComponent, WriteInterface (depreciated).

Api syntax [url="http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=140.0"]here[/url]
I know that this kind of change does not please you ;) .
But the new API works well and without bugs of previous Api

Thank you and quick update :)
Can you also remove the three old Api's Getinterface, ShowComponent, WriteInterface (depreciated and deleted)

Without going into a debate about the docs and chm ;)

Which is why the WIKI is the master location for the docs - BUT, we also have a CHM - AND the tools to create a CHM from the docs on the wiki - in case someone wants to get a CHM on their own time table. Otherwise, we create a new CHM when there are significant edits to the docs...

AND - we welcome anyone to become an "editor" to improve the docs!

Yes, and it was the source for all the API docs and even the formatting into a table...

Thanks for pointing out some issues...In the "official" docs, this led me to fix an issue on "retrieve" in the commands by categories, and also to look again at the splitparameters docs - given that we are trying to show a log file, I enhanced it to show a screen capture (and had the echo of the statement in it as well). It already had the new API docs, since homes32 is an active documenter!

A new CHM will be posted to the downloads section soon!

Scott
