I'm looking for a free DVB-Viewer software, which should best be small and more or less portable.
So far i hadn't really much luck. Any suggestions?

Speaking of DVB-S/S2, did you look in Linux direction?
Also look at AltDVB - it wasn't updated for awhile, but surprisingly works in Win7, and does most of DVD staff quite well - with some limitations though. For more up-to-date experience look at DVBDream or ProgDVB and such - not free though. There are some useful Sat TV add-ons for free WMC as well, like DVBLogic.
I'd say, AltDVB is the most portable one due to its age probably. It still has the best Motor & Switch control among all.

Thanks for the hint, will check it out.
btw. There is a free ProgDVB version, but the program requires .Net.
