Developing a program to run on WinPE 3.1 x32

I would like to create a little interface to select a few options through buttons, comboboxes, checkboxes, read some register values and then call some .CMD scripts with those options. I can do it easily on VB.NET, but, as far as I know, I can't use .NET fw on winpe.
Any recommendation?
Thanks

Possibly (but it would depend on the HTML engine and settings) a HTA would do as well.
Another option that is often neglected is - when a sequence of settings is required - to use an "installer" engine, such as (example) NSIS:

At the very basic level there is the Wizard's Apprentice that - within limits - can do what you describe:

I think at least wimb's builder support dotnet, but it may be a bit much to add just to get a few buttons and checkboxes running.
may ?

I think at least wimb's builder support dotnet, but it is definetely way too much crap to add just to get a few buttons and checkboxes running.

I'm reading about AutoIT, which pretty much does what I want, but I still need to see if it can read from register values. Otherwise, I'll do through REG QUERY and scripting (as always...)
Thanks to everyone!

Which kind of a PE are you talking about? In addition to all the fine comments already made, there *IS* a .net script on the Win7PE_SE project. I can't vouch for it myself - haven't had the need to use any .net tools. BUT, it is there...... but, as far as I know, I can't use .NET fw on winpe.
So, bottom line, there are MANY ways to approach this issue!
