Maybe the issue appears also in PE2. I did not test yet. But in PE1 the issue definitively does not appear.

EDIT: It does not appear in PE2, too. So: In PE3 only.

I have some [Postconfig] code:

[postconfig]

wait|easyDriveLetter|X:WindowsSystem32easyDriveLetter.exe

hidewait|RemapDrives|X:WindowsSystem32RemapDrives.exe /x W: /t 10 /i 0

hidewait|Reload Environment|X:WindowsSystem32ReloadEnv.exe

nowait|StartUp|X:WindowsSystem32StartUp.cmd

StartUp.cmd starts PENetwork:

start "" "%SystemRoot%system32penetwork.exe"

When the desktop appears, there is an "Opera" icon, which should connect to Google.

Results:
When I wait about 1 minute after appearence of the desktop, the connection to Google is done well.
When I click Opera earlier, I get a "Server not accessable" page in Opera.
I can repeat that some times, and again get the error message.
When about one minute is gone, Opera shows Google!

My question:
Please explain, what happens, and how (querying something) I can avoid the error.

I do not want to add an hardcoded pause after [postconfig].

Peter

Hi Peter!
  • have you tried on another computer? Perhaps is a network driver problem...
  • Maybe, the config for auto/dynamic ip. Test set a fixed ip on PENetwork...
:dubbio:

Greetings!
