Didn't we had a system like that already some years ago? Wasn't it replaced by the download servers?

Weird!

Didn't we had a system like that already some years ago? Wasn't it replaced by the download servers?

Around 2007 we provided a download portal. However, it was never integrated inside WinBuilder and it was disabled on the forum after the portal developers stopped working on it and no longer worked with newer versions of the forum software.

The current download portal comes from the same company that develops the forum software, the license costs should ensure that they keep both packages updated and working in the future, reason why it is stable and practical enough to be used by developers to share app scripts.

The download servers for winbuilder will remain with the same principle. There are cases where you might want to host your project outside of reboot.pro and this allows that independence to continue. The new version of wb will work with the portal of reboot.pro to keep projects simpler to customize by users.

Perhaps we should discuss this in a new topic, many details are not settled but this is the current direction.

Figured out my issue, ICMP ping is disabled on my network, had to go to the proxy tab and set it to HTTP ping, then close and reopen the application. :loleverybody:

Why are files used by win7pe relevant to the release of winbuilder 082? If you wanted to post a link to redistribute MS components, which are anyway prohibited from redistribution by the MS eula, then you should have posted in a wiin7pe thread.

No problem man, we all live and learn from these small mistakes.

Take care!

Hi Nuno Brito ;)

I'm glad your program is still continuing to evolve. I have not tested your new program in my project yet. I saw a continuous recurring error and this situation was to my surprise again. I wish you success in your works. Best regards :hi:

Perhaps we need a small revision release to fix that issue. PSC is on vacation and should be back next week. I am sure he will have an opinion about can be done.

Thanks for reporting.

Hi Nuno Brito ;)

It does not matter really, but there is a small cosmetic problem of the winbuilder.

Ahah.. yes, I guess it is time to get the footer updated.

Perhaps this time remove the date to ensure it won't be a nuisance again.

Thanks for reporting.

If it is for "copyright", then you need the date...But rather than hard-code it in the executable, the compilation should pick up the current year - that way it is automatically correct.

The behaviour did not change since WB 074 (WB 072 and earlier nothing is shown):
  • In the GUI is displayed, what is written in the CheckList section.
  • No special handling of percent.
  • No automatic creating of %Variables%
I think the intention can be reached easily by some code:
Attached File  Test.7z   3.8KB   315 downloads

Maybe the functionality can be added to some API.
There are a lot of people changing the API on any new idea

Added information to the interface section of the docs, since this was missing http://code.google.c...binterface_gui

Since it is simple enough, I don't think we need to (at this time) add to standard API definition...But can certainly keep it in mind for future additions
