I don't suppose there is any documentation that has already been compiled regarding the usage of this powerful scripting tool?
I didn't see it on the wiki .... so I figure self-explanatory tool. Just thought to ask

You are right. The lines copied into your code, should be self-explaining.

If not, let me know.

One issue to be mentioned:

The API (with submenus) is not part of WinBuilder.exe. It is read by WinBuilder from the actual API script, which currently changes very often.

So, If there is an issue with an API line, be patient ...

Yes, as Peter said, the API information for the "help" comes directly from the API file as part of hooking in the API file - that *IS* in the docs.

But, if there is something that isn't clear, let us know and we can look at it! As you might have seen, I am currently leading the doc efforts, and am always looking for help/suggestions, etc. Feel free to leave a note on the page AND let us know here as well.

Just an idea to Scott:

Maybe it is recommended to explain some (for developers usually known) rules in the doc.
  • [ ... ] is optional
  • { ... | ... | ... ... } requires one of the items between |

Good idea - added in the "editor" section, but also something to put in as we continue to improve docs for consistency.

requires one of the items between

I would change that to: 'requires only one of the items between'
Just to be on the save side.

Nice to see "Deutsche Gründlichkeit" (German thoroughnes) here.

Thanks, Medevil! A good suggestion!

Mathematically correct is: 'requires one and only one of the items between'
