an ingeneer to check whether the change is made with respect to all workplace safety aspects.
an union member to check whether the change is made with respect to all social aspects.

Forum members are not allowed to change light bulbs, it is against the Health and Safety guidelines!

Famous comedy double-acts: first there was Laurel and Hardy, next came Morecambe and Wise and now we have Health and Safety.

Maybe I add a bit OFF TOPIC, why I suggested this addin:

In the 80th (may be that is different now), I made an installation in the UK. And I plugged a new hardware piece in.
That has been a BIG FAILURE: I have been informed by the management, that me as system ingeneer is not allowed to plug in any hardware.

Following union rights that has to be done by an electrican..

Therefore transformation "Light bulb" into "lodygin" would be reasonable.
All other is wrong.
