If I understand what you're saying, you have a previously working usb disk which now won't boot a new machine running Windows 7; did I get that right?
The OS version running on the machine doesn't matter, the boot disk should still work but there is probably differences in hardware or settings in BIOS that are causing troubles.
Tap the key (Esc or F-key) which calls up your boot devices at startup to make sure you're booting to the correct device or at least confirm its presence in the list. If the device isn't listed you'll need to enter system setup (BIOS), usually F2 or F10, to confirm USB booting enabled and boot order etc. but if you don't feel comfortable with this, don't do it as you could cause more trouble for yourself.
The simplest thing to try would be a CD (or DVD) boot disk instead of USB as most machines will boot automatically from this medium. Do you have access to a machine for burning ISO to CD?

It appeared the data wouldnt load according to the shop so they lent me a copy and informed me to try that if that never worked to bring it back and they would fix it..
So happy days all working and i saved my data by removing the hard drive and using a programme called recovery i had to get my data of the drive that way so all in all i am realy happy .
