ok i'm only a simple user and love to make some experiments, like http://reboot.pro/13731/ (boot xp/w7 from .img file), but i found some problems with the w7 (xp works very good!).

the problem with win 7 is simple, crashes after win7 logo, i was looking for something that can help me but the topics isn't that i'm looking, and i starts my own testing project, i read that we can boot from .vhd (virtual pc HD file), and found the answer from these topics, the problem is W7 don't boot because don't have the winvblock drivers, then i extract these files from winvblock.ima save in a folder and copy inside the w7.vhd hard disk, then using the virtual pc, load win7 and install these drivers there show and error because the "hard disk" isn't connected (no yet ), after that i reboot my computer and load the w7.vhd from the boot of my pc and win 7 image boot normally without problems!!

this is the lines for the menu.lst

title Boot Win7 in Win7.vhd - WinVBlock driver
map --mem /winvblock.ima (fd1)
map /Win7.vhd (hd0)
map --hook
root (hd0,0)
chainloader /bootmgr

OR

title Boot Win7 in Win7.img - WinVBlock driver
map --mem /winvblock.ima (fd1)
map /Win7.img (hd0)
map --hook
root (hd0,0)
chainloader /bootmgr

HAVE FUN!!!
