Matter for thought:

At first sight it looks like more probable than the "cleaning lady hack"

An additional "layer" *needed*?

Besides "general tools" like Truecrypt, there are dedicated ones:

This interesting test:

comes unfortunately from a ehmm :) let's conventionally say "not fully accredited" source:

and may need independent confirmations..

For NO apparent reason :worship:, a lolcat:

I liked the LOL cat, we can never have enough of them..

Had also noted this "deduplication" marvel about a year ago, there are indeed no free lunches.

They're not bad because they're just doing what all the other big sites also do..

This is interesting:

Dropbox Accounts Were Accessible by Anyone for Four Hours on Sunday

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2387343,00.asp

During some hours all the accounts of dropbox could be accessed without need for a password. How nice can this be.. :1st:

A 60's LOLcat, an elegant way to finish a comment about security. :dubbio:

Some actual news.

Now on Kickstarter:
http://shieldheadwear.com/

This is the special fabric.

Soft, good looking, washable and completely safe for skin contact. This wire shielding mesh is fabricated from the pure silver which are perfect for RF shielding and eliminating odor and bacteria.

...the pure silver which are ... ? :w00t:

It is too similar to a prank to be for real, still they are very honest ....

“We don`t say it`s 100% protection. We just want to protect us by a simple way as much as possible.”

they are not saying it will actually work... :whistling:

It's all a conspiracy perpetrated by the Illuminati........if you actually believe they exist.

If you want your data secure and don't care about your privacy, don't store it on DB. There are all these whiny little b*****s running around screaming that their privacy and security is being violated by whoever, yet many of them willingly partake in the offending providers' services. You play your own part and it's your fault to a degree if you fit this description.

The LOL CATS aren't even funny, just ridiculous and stupid, I for one am no friend of animals. I can't stand to be around them most of the time. It's like the 'I can haz cheezburger?' pics, etc floating around.

Silver, shmilver.. It costs less than 20 EUR. Already a raw metal armor would have a cost, let alone silver.

Still, I like the idea of a concealed tinfoil hat. Can the line of reasoning: "Just because I'm paranoid, no need to share it publicly".

Maybe the silver are nano-fibers, that of course nano-, i.e. very little protect from nano-waves. :whistling:

@Anonvendetta

Sure, I presume the sentiment is reciprocal...

Spoiler

Aren't Illuminati these strange Italian fellows that bicker people around the web for fun and profit?

If so, I think they might indeed exist. :dubbio:
