When (by actual reason) I looked into an old topic I started, I found all "cheers" and "great" smilies by me and Pedrole15 changed to "ranting".

May it be a side effect of the hacker attacks about one year ago?

Can it be changed back to a backup stage.

For many users reading this topic, it is really ununderstandable.

Yep, unfortunately it is :whistling:, it's a "side effect" (I prefer to call it "collateral damage" of the "board shift" without (evidently) enough checks BEFORE.

See here (issue already found but NO solutions possible/available :frusty:) :

Sorry, you are wrong! The solution could be to spend 2000+ hours for the board admin or the software deliverer (whoever of them initiated this issue) to change manually post by post! And I'm sure that anywhere in the world there is a backup of the original.
Unfortunatelly I cannot change the posts I'm interested at, because I do not have the rights to e.g. edit Pedrole15's post in "my" topic.

I could only bring my posts back to "Great", "Cheers" and leaving Pedro's post with "Ranting": Great impression for the reader!

You are right :frusty: , I meant "possible" in the sense of "possible":
http://dictionary.re...browse/possible

—Synonyms
1. Possible, feasible, practicable refer to that which may come about or take place without prevention by serious obstacles. That which is possible is naturally able or even likely to happen, other circumstances being equal: Discovery of a new source of plutonium may be possible. Feasible refers to the ease with which something can be done and implies a high degree of desirability for doing it: This plan is the most feasible. Practicable applies to that which can be done with the means that are at hand and with conditions as they are: We ascended the slope as far as was practicable.

(and "available" as "available") :whistling:
http://dictionary.re...rowse/available

2. readily obtainable; accessible: available resources.

as I don't see Nuno (or anyone else for that matter) spending the needed amount of time to correct the issue.

Moreover, since there is seemingly NOT a "pattern" in the changes made, there is a concrete risk that the (hypothetical) volunteer would change the "wrong" smiley with an even "wronger" one.

Can we settle for "feasible"?:
http://dictionary.re...browse/feasible

1. capable of being done, effected, or accomplished: a feasible plan.
2. probable; likely: a feasible theory.

and "practicable"?:
http://dictionary.re...wse/practicable

1. capable of being done, effected, or put into practice, with the available means; feasible: a practicable solution.
