This is for those skeptics who thought that Mickeysoft would never catch up with the decade-old WinPE-on-ISO building capabilities of BartPE, let alone approaching anything like the multiboot WinPE-on-USB portability endeavours developed and developing here.

Oh ye of little faith, the answer to everyone's(?) prayers is near at hand. Windows 8 WILL BE PORTABLE on a USB stick! With luck, you might even be able to run Notepad -- but definitely no built-in capability to accommodate third-party apps.

In the meantime, those looking for an official MS-supported solution will just have to be satisfied with their marginal "recovery disk" efforts. Win7 ISO downloads here for anyone who may want one.
