Hi peeps,
Got tftpd32 working nice as per diddys guide and grub4dos. However it dawned on me I might be able to recreate the pxe boot system I have at work, in order to improve it. In the dhcp options you set the boot file to grldr for g4d boot. I thought if I change the bootfile to an network boot image it would boot that instead however it fails with base image too large error. What have I missed ? Thanks :-)

What NBP are you booting, exactly, instead of GRLDR?

Although I just realized I can still have GRLDR and have menu to timeout @ 1 so it just loads the flopyy entry asap?

Your link is an .htm file. You cannot boot an .htm file via PXE. If you are referring to the .zip file on that page, you further more cannot boot a .zip file via PXE. PXE will only allow you to boot special programs called Network Bootstrap Programs. GRLDR is an NBP. PXELINUX (pxelinux.0) is an NBP. A floppy disk image is not an NBP.
If you wish to boot a floppy disk image over the network, you will have to do something like:
- PXE -> GRLDR -> map --mem (pd)/floppy.vfd (fd0); map --hook; root (fd0); chainloader +1; boot
- PXE -> PXELINUX -> MEMDISK + floppy.vfd
- PXE -> gPXE (undionly.kkpxe) -> MEMDISK + floppy.vfd
- PXE -> iPXE (undionly.kkpxe) -> MEMDISK + floppy.vfd
