DotNet Component redesign
Posted 20 February 2011 - 09:33 PM
i have DotNet-Components complete redesigned. Now DotNet is fully supported for x86/x64 and WoW-environment on x64. You now also can use x86 DotNet-Programs on x64.
Also new options now available:
Run from RAM / Run from CD
If you set 'Run from CD' Folder Microsoft.NET and Assembly are copied to Programs instead to x:\windows. All needed registry-entrys are linked to Programs. So you have no bigger bootwim with this enabled component and only one DotNet-Components for Multi-Wim.
Next new Option FileCopy:
full / full without Reference Assemblies / DotNet 2.0 only / DotNet 2.0 minimal
Here you can select, how many files are copied, from full ( ca 300MB to DotNet 2.0 Core with the major assemblies for the most programs enough (only 57MB).
You can download v14 and test it:
DotNetFx.7z 17KB 186 downloads

You can enable this option for simple programs, that only use windows.forms (system.data is supported with FileCopy-Option 'DotNet 2.0 only').
You can download the v5 at first post.

I have not encountered any errors with the very first version you posted. I just downloaded the latest one and will try again. For File Copy type, I selected Full. My W7 source is English.

yes, with 'full' no errors. For 'full' copy with *.*, that works.
For DotNet 2.0 only and minimal I copy with full name, and the resorce-files not available in english, but in other languages.
