Hello from Spain. I currently searchind some linux distribution oldier than have kernel 2.4 with ftape support to boot from usb to manage QIC/TRAVAN ide/floppy attached versions to manage olders backups. I create dump files with the complete image from cardtridge using dd streaming file tool and may be complete virtual tape solution using any linux distribution using BACULA/AMANDA package with ftape support... any idea ?

Help to use live linux with kernel 2.4 or earlier with ftape support
