Hi,

I want to add a license file to the ROOT of LiveXP and cannot find a way of doing so in WinBuilder options.

At the moment I am adding the file to the LiveXP iso manually by way of UltraISO but would like some way of automatically doing this.

I have been searching the forum and can't seem to locate anything of this nature, considering I already am using the Use Custom Folders option and I need another means to add to the root and not to a predetermined folder.

I am using WinBuilder that says it is 080 but the site I got it from:-
<http://al-jo.zxq.net...cs latest.zip>.

TIA,
BobxT

In Win7PE the ” 4-iso.script” script have an option to add files in the root.
If it’s that you want in LiveXP’s “CreateISO.script” perhaps Lancelot, Galapo or Amalux can implement that option in the future?
Look at the pics…

Ps. The link you provided to Winbuilder is beta081. The latest official is this:

Maybe because of my low English knowledge I misunderstood, but as far as I understood:

Independent of LiveXP, this should work in all projects:

Add a script to your project to do the job:
[main]

Title=myLicenses

Description=Adds license files to the root of the PE

Selected=True

// choose level that it fits into the tree of the current project.

// IMO 5 is ok, because apps (which need the license) are usually in level 5

Level=5

Version=1

[variables]

%LicFile1%=<location on my PC>

%LicFile2%=<location on my PC>

// and so on

[process]

FileCopy,%LicFile1%,%TargetDir%

FileCopy,%LicFile2%,%TargetDir%

// and so on

Hi al_jo,

That was the version I downloaded, ie. "WinBuilder pcs latest.zip".

I installed v0.81 RC1 but somehow I updated it online within WinBuilder and it reverted to 0.80 not sure what I did.

Should I restore the 0.81 RC1 WinBuilder.exe file..?
It is dated inside the zip file as 3rd September 2010.

Additionally, I am having a font viewing problem, perhaps I should open another topic on this..?

What has happened is that I have recently bought a Dell 30 inch monitor and although I have customised Windows 7 x86 Ultimate's desktop icons and text to be larger, I cannot find anyway of adjusting the menu fonts within WinBuilder.

WinBuilder 's fonts size on this screen is very small.

TIA.
Regards,
BobxT.

It’s a ”feature” in LiveXP that recognize unsupported winbuilder.exe and downloads supported winbuilder.exe = 080 Rev3 and 077 RC2 = Use 080!
