I've looked at various posts and have not found a definitive solution to build a LiveXP with BootSDI + Win2K3_Ramdisk (CAB Compression), just found a problem similar to mine in this post, and the only viable solution was the BootSDI + Firadisk (GZip Compression). :cheers:

Please, I need to know if it is possible to build a LiveXP BootSDI + Win2K3_Ramdisk: Source files? Options for Ramdisk? Options for BootSDI? :cheers:

Congratulations, the forum is magnificent.
by Google Translate. My english is bad... :)

Yes Master, I could build a LiveXP with BootSDI + Win2K3_Ramdisk, with the following options:

Source Files
> Windows Server 2003 SP2
Bootsector
> Setupldr.bin
Ramdisk
> Win2K3_Ramdisk, providing the necessary files*
Create Image
> BootSDI, with CAB Image checked

* Download the Win2K3 SP1 installation pack to systemdrive (C:\);
Rename it to a short name (eg w2k3sp1.exe);
In Run box (WinKey+R), 'C:\w2k3sp1.exe -x', ok
...Run box, 'expand -r C:\i386\ramdisk.sy_ C:\i386'
In i386 folder, copy setupldr.bin and ramdisk.sys to "%GlobalTemplates%\BootSDI"

Thanks amalux :cheers:

Hi Edwere,

I don't understand "In i386 folder, copy setupldr.bin and ramdisk.sys to "%GlobalTemplates%\BootSDI" "
Is it a Winbuilder folder ? I can't find it.
Could you plaese point me to the right way ?

Regards.

Get access to this folder through the Winbuilder, browser to the window Win2K3_Ramdisk (LiveXP > Drivers > 5 Ramdisk > Win2K3_Ramdisk), note that beside the address box is a button (Open Dir), click it. The i386 folder is created where you downloaded the Win2K3 SP1 installation pack.
