It doesn't work like this. ;)

PROVIDE DETAILS:
  • WHAT the heck is "Main Foxconn G31"?
    This mainboard?:

  • WHAT DEVICE does not boot? (internal hard disk, SATA or PATA, CD/DVD, external USB hard disk or memory stick, firewire, WHAT)?
  • WHAT do you mean "it doesn't boot"? (WHAT happens when you try booting the whatever you are trying to boot? DESCRIBE what you see)

Wonko is right, you should give as much details as possible about the problem, if you want to get help quickly, and do not double post -- we see every new thread on the main forum page ;)

What USB Flash do you use? I had no-boot problem with Transcend JF600 on AMIBIOS Biostar G31, but solved it by correct formatting.

You can try the following in Bootice 0.8.1:
Reformat USB disk first, choose USB-HDD mode (63 or 2048 alignment, I use last)
MBR -- UltraISO USB-HDD+ (should be set automaticaly, but check this)
PBR -- GRUB for DOS

Then copy on the UFD GRLDR and menu.lst that you have.

Wonko is right

Yep ;) , this is by definition:

;)

Just for the record, the 2048 alignment is NON-traditional and may fail, whilst the 63 one is the "traditional one" and is more likely to work on a wider number of systems.

As well FAT16 is traditionally the most compatible filesystem.

The alternative is using INSTEAD of BootICE, RMPREPUSB:

IF RMPREPUSB also fails, you may want to try FBINST, that though being the "less-standard" app, has the WIDEST possible compatibility with ANY board:
