I'm using VMWare 7.0.0 build-203739 on Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit (Build 7600) 6.1.7600. Also I've made a pen drive bootable using HPUSBFW.EXE. Now when I'm trying to use the pen drive as a hard disk(PhysicalDisk) of my virtual machine, the VM spits the following error message:
But the same VMware works perfectly fine with Win XP. To be sure, I've tried the same configuration on my friend's laptop running Win 7 Ultimate. The problem remained intact. Does anybody know what the problem is? Is there any workaround?
