I have a ubuntu 10.10 PXE boot menu which as described here is working
It gets me to a GUI and lets me install Ubuntu just as installing from the CD would.
I want to know if I can install some software and change some settings and then save these changes so every time I fire up the ubunutu 10.10 PXE I can go back to this settings.
Regards

Nice, I've been planning to try a Ubuntu based PXE boot. For Live USB persistence a loop file called casper-rw is used, perhaps you can do the same with PXE. Put the word persistent after boot=casper on a menu entry. You can also use a partition called casper-rw instead of the loop file. Hey I bet you can nfs mount the casper-rw partiton.

Let me know how it goes!
