Yesterday I decided to retire and restart following fully #12 of the board rules: Have Fun!

That means
  • No more WinBuilder.exe develop
  • No more documentation
  • No more Bug Tracker
  • No more nativeEx_Core
  • ...
Now: I develop Tools, Projects, Scripts, following my ideas.
And: (Like Wonko) I give comments whenever I find it applicable. Maybe they are useful suggestions for somebody, or maybe I just illuminate some faults a poster made.

I'll share the results and publish in http://nativeex.exec-se.de as an offer. That means: Everybody is free to use them.

If he uses and they work for him: Fine
If he uses and they do not work for him: He could work before w/o.

I made the new start visible by a new display name.

Peter

I would have found pscEx more suitable ;)

I think that you partially mis-read Rule #12 :), it also implies that the fun is IN boot-land ;) , and NOT outside of it...

Hi Peter,

All the best in your retirement!

Lancelot and I have been finding fun again in script development since deciding to no longer support new winbuilder versions. I hope you can have as much fun as we have because it has been really enjoyable for us. We haven't released anything yet, but it's in the pipeline.

Regards,
Galapo.

That looks like LiveXP is on the way to become self sufficient, and no longer needs all the nativeEx BullS*** I constructed in my unexperienced youth age!

Congratulations!

The fun (besides for me) will be IN boot-land when I (like you do since a while) illuminate foolish items in projects, scripts and other publications.

Yes, I think this is best ;) , better for your peace of mind and better for the forum (oh, if only the negative, toxic bickering would stop here...). In a kinder past you were very helpful to me and I will always be grateful to you for your support and guidance; hopefully the LiveXP-WbEx wars that have soured our world of late will cool to a sideline simmer and allow for more productive project development for all (it's already happening) ;)

Be aware that starting a competing war with me on foolishness might be less fun than you would think  , just as an example: isn't it foolish ;) to sport the light blue ribbon in your signature WITHOUT a link to it's page? ;)

And yes had I not stolen :) BOTH the ribbon image and the html code of the page, I could sue you for copyright infringement! :)

OOPS!
Can you do me a favour and give me a 'non-warez' usable signature?

Peter :)

Ok, this is the Peter I liked, the cool Peter who is joking and have a touch of fun.
The irony is that as I was wandering in forums I stuck at this. I wish some day you two speak each other like the old good times. Look forward.

Thanks, King!

The other irony is that the relationship between Lancelot and me in the past has been a up / down situation between Mariana Trench and Mount Everest.
Last year, in Mount Everest (or better low Nepal) times we met on my yearly trip (caused by city partnership) to Kusadasi.
But now, before my actual trip in October, we are in Mariana Trench and I do not see any rope or similar else to go up.

Peter

EDIT: I just saw Lancelot's post. IMO it currently looks like 'swimming in the ocean'

Thanks for your helps and always remember them.
Sometime, I want to do something but I did what not want to.
Whatever means ironic or stubborn, in many time I did the same way you did.

Thanks for your helps and always remember them.

Helping people by explaining, giving source snippets, etc. did not stop. I only stopped to make any changes in published items.
One exception: If you ask for help in the LiveXP forum, I ignore.
I do not want my answers moved to the communication forum by the LiveXP forum's "owners".

NO, it's not a WAREZ  problem.

The ribbon image is "public domain" (to my best knowledge).

The idea of making it "light blue" and associating it to the "freedom of skin" campaign is NOT.

In the time since it first appeared, the light-blue ribbon image has been (rightfully) associated to the "light blue ribbon campaign for freedom of skin" and became it's distinctive mark and symbol.

You cannot "separate" a world-wide reknown  symbol from the "product" it has been associated with, thus what I am asking is that you EITHER:

Delete all your past and install a new memory and then you'll be fresh and fruity in your life.

I did the same thing.

I also want to thank you for your great job and your fantastic help in the past.
It made me miserable to read your decision but I can fully understand it when reading the recent topics about that goal.

I am also looking forward to reading your posts in your new style in future (like I did in the case of Wonko, some (ironic) posts were superb)

Still I will countinue on reading your work on your homepage.

Thanks a lot

Thank you, Sir!

Excuse me, I'm only a programmer, and e.g. in the view of Don Galapo and Lance Pansa a bad programmer.
Such enhanced user tasks are very strange for me. See my life status
