Hey guys, it's been a while...and of course, I'm having issues again. Here's what's going on.
From win xp sp/3 attempting to do frugal installation of BT 4, it's Ubuntu, Debian (I believe). I'm on an older dell inspirion 7000 120 G hdd divided as follows
C: - 25 G where I want to put the finsl BT install after the unetbootin gets the frugal install to boot.
D: Windows xp, new installation, 25 G also
E: 30 G where I placed the frugal install when I ran Unetbootin
F: 30 G blank
Here's the problem...after the unetbootin does it's magic it asks me to reboot. When I do the machine boots to win xp, no multi menu...nothing. Unetbootin don't even ask to be uninstalled. Is there something in xp that keeps the unetbootin from changing the boot.ini or something? I've succeeded with this on my dell desktop, and am not sure what I did to make the unetbootin work in xp. Help I need this on my laptop for work if I can get it.
Thanks in advance.
Frugal install of Backtrack 4 final
