LiveXP is a very flexible PE 1x, using Explorer as shell, supporting SATA/IDE drives, USB devices, and many other features and tweaks. This project is based on PE environment and will use a Windows ™ XP/2003 Install CD.

Ok, added to the forum header of LiveXP.

Whenever you make changes, just bump this topic and update the first topic. If for some reason I don't acknowledge the changes then please send an email so that it doesn't take too long to update.

btw: congratulations for Galapo.net

Hi Nuno,

I wonder if you could make it possible that for particular sub-forums that whoever it is led by has the rights to be able to edit the header?

I'm hoping you'll be able to change the LiveXP forum header to this:

@Galapo: Are there any advantages to switch "Complete" from your server to dropbox?

Hi Peter,

Project files are still located on my server at galapo.net/livexp. The archive of LiveXP Recommended RAR file I've relocated to DropBox because of the bandwidth usage associated with the popularity of the project. In the last 9 days LiveXP_Recommended.rar has been download 4,000 times. The archive is 91mb, so that adds up quickly to quite a bit of bandwidth usage.

Regards,
Galapo.

Thanks, Galapo!

That means for me that I can (for now) remain also with complete packages on nativeex.exec-se.de.

I have had much less downloads last weeks.

My main aim for having the archive file located on DropBox was purely to distribute bandwidth. I'd prefer to have the archive on my own server, but I didn't quite expect so many downloads so soon.

For you, your archive is quite a bit smaller as you're distributing a minimal amount of apps, so bandwidth usage will be less of an issue (or maybe you have a hosting account which is truely unlimited).

Regards,
Galapo.

Yes, I have 5GB (for me 'unlimited') space and unlimited traffic. :D

Is the 'How To' a secret or can other subforum admins also know?

Peter :D
