1) I can't see an image I posted. The link is not broken & according to the forum rules, I've uploaded in a free webspace owned by me. If u click on the hyperlink, it's working perfectly fine. Please, try it out. For your convenience, I'm providing the link .

Can u tell me the reason?

2) I've mistakenly started two similar threads in two different boards. How can I merge them into one?

Clicking on the link resolves to (depending on how many times you click it):
http://swiftphp.com/notify/2.php
http://ifastnet.com/notify/2.php
http://xlphp.net/notify/2.php

Which is a 403 of some kind....:(

Copying and pasting the actual link:
hxxp://www.log.0fees.net/BootLand/lostpass.JPG
works, which should mean that the "free hosting site" sucks ....

Use ImageShack.us :smiling9: They have a handy local client for the batch upload. Free of charge, of course.

Yep. Imageshack rules. We even use them to host the images that you see on the right column.

Can u tell me sir if I wan't to provide a small download of a few KB, do I always need to find a third party host? Because in the standard text editor, I found no option of uploading an attachment?

We have a tradition of providing the means for people to upload files.

At the moment attachments were disabled for regular members as there was a lot of waste and we were getting into troubles managing that.

I've promoted you to the level of advanced user where you can upload the file using the attachment system, I only ask that you use it wisely.

Out of >30k members that we have, only 75 are advanced users. Welcome to the new group.

Thank you sir. I assure you that I won't misuse or waste the storage space. I only need to upload a patched SERIAL.SY_ (339 KB) file for viewing by other members.

Immediately after joining boot-land community, I started the following thread:

http://www.boot-land...showtopic=12282

But later, Wonko the Sane pointed out that instead of posting it under Tutorial board, I should have started it somewhere else as "Tutorials" is where people posts tutorials for other to read. Realizing my mistake, I started a similar thread:

http://www.boot-land...showtopic=12298

I request a moderator to merge the former thread to the later as it'll keep the organization of forum topics intact. Everything in this forum seems to be in place. I don't want it to be hampered for my ignorance.
