but on the pc that have planned in the bios the presence of a floppy 1.44mb but in reality the floppy is not connected, livexp not boot, works only until background

if I go to the bios, and I disable the floppy, the system boot

is it possible to resolve this problem?

Hi schumy,

yep I already know this issue for a long while with repeative reports of kare and blue life saying boot up is slow but not giving accurate reason,
and I suspect some slow boot reports also had relation to that,
I figured out and defined the issue very recently,
and as far as i remember you are the first one who define the issue accurately

We have some solutions on test, coming soon :dubbio:

I had similar problems with some machines. In this case it was Windows 7 or Windows Vista Setup DVD which took ages to load when the floppy setting was enabled in BIOS but actually there was no floppy disk. When the floppy setting was disabled in BIOS,the Windows Setup DVD booted very quickly.
