Hey,

The latest version of Kaspersky Anti Virus/Internet Security 2011 now allows you to put the KRD on a USB  Anyway, I want to be able to also put Hiren's BootCD on the USB, and I have both currently on two different USBs (both Cruzer Blade 4gB [Bought on the same day ]). One contains Hiren's BootCD from this tutorial,

Hiren's Official Tutorial

And the other is from using KIS 2011 to add it to the USB after formatting the USB.

Why you would want to use WAREZ?

And why would you want help for using them from the board members?

The fact that Rules are not anymore enforced brutally as before doesn't mean they have been canceled...;)

Ask for supoport to the nice guys that provided the "official" tutorial.

I did not know that Hiren's BootCD was Warez, to be honest.

Anyway, can't anyone just help me?

Thanks anyway, but I solved my problem, also the way he puts KRD is over complicated

My quick method:

1) Format the USB
2) Open KAV/KIS 2011 -> Tools -> Rescue Disk -> USB

Then you're done

Did you find out, what USB Controller and Flash Memory Chip models are used in this drive? What utility did you use for that? Can you list the models here?

Sure. ;)

They now got a new, special license from MS ;) to distribute, besides:

Mini Windows 98
Can run from Ram Drive, with ntfs support, 7-Zip, Disk Defragmenter, Notepad / RichText Editor, Image Viewer, .avi .mpg .divx .xvid Movie Player, etc... $

also:

Mini Windows Xp
Portable Windows Xp that runs from CD/USB/Ram Drive, with Network and SATA support. $

i.e., essentially a prebuilt-PE.

I wonder why there is the "$" symbol near to them... :hyper:

I guess we can probably ask for the same and start - instead of making a lot of people lose their time using Winbuilder - distributing pre-built images, a lot of people will be much happier.

Hehe ;)
I dont have any Hiren Release, neither i asked Hiren what the $ means.
I'll guess, that he'll provide a FAQ or a HowTo to bind/repack the "$" stuff to the iso, or some kind of business, where he'll request some $ to build an individual licensed ISO?!
The cousin of a friend of my friend told me, that u'll get from usual suspects two versions. The legal/official and the repacked one.

I guess we can probably ask for the same and start - instead of making a lot of people lose their time using Winbuilder - distributing pre-built images, a lot of people will be much happier.

Of course, thats either a reason why me is bothering all the nice guys here ;)

Should you happen to meet the cousin of the friend of your friend can you ask hime/her this question:

Does the "legal/official" version contain ANY non-redistributable file?

Please note how the question only allows for a Yes/No type of answer.

If Yes, then even the "legal/official" version is WAREZ.
If No, it isn't (and it is simply a mix between UBCD and UBCD4WIN :)).

Obviously a repacked version ;) of ANYTHING, possibly got from a Torrent or from some really l33t sites, is one of the best known way to get a rootkit, worm or worse on your PC.
