Verify script is having an issue with this line from script.project:

[Verify]

Call "Before" (autoUPX, Create ISO);

Peter will have to take a look to determine what's going on. On the Verify script, please select the "Extended log" box and post the output for him to see.

regarding the Disk Director error, do you know if the server version is supported by the script, maybe it's not?

Regards,
Galapo.

Hi dsolomon,

*
I have small idea for the message.
somehow at
\Projects\LiveXP\Drivers\4 Storage\
you manage to enable both
DPs Mass Storage Drivers
and
Sata Drivers
scripts

Do the following:
Disable "Sata Drivers" script
than enable "Sata Drivers" script
than disable "Sata Drivers" script
and never enable it again .

after that enable "Build DPs Mass Storage Drivers script"

This fix may also have effect on your acronis problem.

*
I do not have "acronis disk director server 10.0.2288" at hand to test
with the one I can test (10.0.0.2160 suite) it works fine.

If above solution does not help, and idea is, 2 acronis product in your build causing trouble, (I do not have both ready to test around)
+I just read, Galapo might be right about script not supporting server.

Dera knows acronis products very well, probably have an idea.

*
An advice, do not use add10, it is truely an old product and old disk manager utilities well known not good to maintain disks partitioned with new windowses.
Acronis now have a new dd, dd11, maybe someone (maybe you) have time to write a script.

*
also reminding, easus is a good and free alternative, frequently updated by company.
As far as i know Latest easus script here (post 42)
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=6023
by billonious
which might be a good start to make a new easus5 script ;).

i think the only difference between the older and the newer DiskDirector versions is this "fox.dll"
i mean the newer DD 10.0.0.2288 needs this file in the '%Target_Prog%\DD10' folder
while in the older DD 10.0.0.2160 there is no such file

Hi dsolomon,

with limited time, I made a small adding to dd10 script for you to test DD 10.0.0.2288
http://lancelot.winb...01006200012.rar

just click 'Open Dir' button on interface of this script, and add "fox.dll" to the folder (in addition to others). Script will copy fox.dll during build if exists. (thanks dera again)

Inform current topic if success (or unsuccess).

Good luck.

sorry guys, i have been on a camping/fishing trip since friday
 (now i am slightly toasted and very red, as many of you may be aware - we nerds do not get out much lol)
i will start the testing immediatly and post my results. i will also post my "extended log" for anyone interested.
and thanks lancelot for the mod script!
i appreciate the work you put forth to the bootland community - even if you STILL call me dsolmon - rather than my real SN which is dsolomon lol. i even think you apologized for the mispelling a very long time ago... XD

Hi dsolomon,

yep picture correct, maybe log was from previous build......

with above picture setting follow:
1-

On the Verify script, please select the "Extended log" box and post the output for him to see.

2-
after changing setting, click big blue,
when notepad opens, save this notepad info, and post here. (not log.html)
(no need to finish build)

Tip: on wb screen, click "Tools" at top right, select "Options" at top left, you will find "Log Name with TimeStamp" and "Save automatically" checkboxes, enable them

Hi dsolomon,

ok - here is what popped up in my notepad doc.

thanks a lot, this is what Galapo asked for.

do i need to post the new log.html too?

well if you have a last one, why not .
Further is not in our hands. I guess info you provided here probably result with bug fix in time.

Till than, you can disable verify script as long as you know your build arrangements are okey , or ignore this warning during builds like you've done so far. (or if you catch this medusa bug by changing a setting in your build, better to post an update here  )

Thanks for all informatoins, See you around.

Thanks for providing logs. Hopefully Peter will be able to work out what the issue is and provide a script update for you.

Regards,
Galapo.

"In the back" i'm trying to reproduce the issue since the first post. But even with the log or with "Verify extended log" I have no chance.

Let me explain what the questionable veryfy statement does:

It compares the index of (item1) with the index of (item2) in the process tree.
Then depending of the compare it gives a warning.
Here, one index seems to be "not integer" ([EConvertError='' is not a valid integer value] )

Currently, for me the only explanation is: There is something strange in the PROJECT, which disturbes the "Process order"

@Dsolomon: Can you please try with ALL apps in the project disabled?

If then (As I assume) everything is ok, you should add APP by APP (maybe binary mode as groups) and find out which app is disturbing.
If then everything is NOT OK, redownload the complete LiveXP and try again.

If it is still not OK then: Format your harddisk and restart (not very serious!)

Peter

seems that this script
C:\Livexp\Projects\LiveXP\Apps\HD Tasks\Defrag\PowerDefragmenterGUI.script
is causing the issue. Through "Process of elimination" i have determined that i do not get the warning when i disable the PowerDefragmenterGUI.script.
case solved. =)

seems that this script
C:\Livexp\Projects\LiveXP\Apps\HD Tasks\Defrag\PowerDefragmenterGUI.script
is causing the issue. Through "Process of elimination" i have determined that i do not get the warning when i disable the PowerDefragmenterGUI.script.
case solved. =)

Many thanks, dsolomon

I'll try whether I can find the root of the issue.

Peter

EDIT: A quick test showed that this is not the "bad boy".

In my LiveXP installation the script does not cause the warning.
