Hi,

Is there any DOS (floppy) image that is ready to support CD-ROM and USB devices?

It's been over 10 years since I stop playing with DOS, so I hope I can download a ready made one instead of rolling up my sleeves and make one...

Thanks

See if this fits . . .
FreeDOS.

Since the only option till now (1 week after OP) is a FreeDOS one, I am rolling up my sleeves and making one myself, but I need your help. Since it's been over 10 years since I stop playing with DOS, I need your input on what's the best driver for the following (best is best is best, free or none-free):

Emm
Ramdisk
FAT16/FAT32
NTFS
mouse
CDROM (ide/scsi/usb, etc)
USB key

Thanks a lot!

It's been a while since I used it, but www.netbootdisk.com is worth checking out.

I need your input on what's the best driver for the following (best is best is best, free or none-free):

Just replace the Freedos on the floppy image with your flavour of DOS, as a first step, that floppy contains most working USB drivers available.
RAMDISK:
Frank Uberto's XMSDSK
http://www.uwe-sieber.de/util_e.html
http://www.uwe-siebe...iles/xmsdsk.zip
or SRDISK:
http://sourceforge.n...rojects/srdisk/

FAT16 is supported on ANY DOS.
FAT32 is natively support in DOS >6.22 (and in FreeDOS)
NTFS (and more) see here:

http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=4260
mouse, any will do, nice (actually cute :D) is:
http://cutemouse.sourceforge.net/
more:
http://www.uwe-sieber.de/util_e.html

CDROM: SHSUCDX:
http://www.boot-land...?...11723&st=25
actual driver will of course depend on hardware.
